My last visit, they had taken out the "cook in front of you" and replaced with tables for sitting and ordering. My guess is they didnt make enough money to continue the "cook in front of you " service. 😔
I'm sure they will do anything to help you, the employees are very helpful.

I think each teppenyaki(?) can seat around 12 maybe. If they could do two back to back with 2 chefs 23 may be possible.
Good food. Would have given 5 stars but they forgot a part of my order resulting in me having to return to get it.
We had a quick dinner here this evening. My young boys chose the kids teriyaki chicken and my daughter and I chose a sushi roll and a side of noodles and salad. The sushi was great!

Menu says that the entree comes with Rice, Noodles, soup and salad. So when we got the food for 2 people, it was only rice, salad and the chicken, shrimp and steak.. No noodles and no soup.. For 34$. This is why they are losing business. I called and she said the menu has changed. If your menu has changed then you should change it online too. This is false advertising
Good hibachi & sushi. Staff can OCCASIONALLY be a little slow. Update 08/16/17: dropped down to 2 stars for the horrible service received. Never got drink refills, waited well over 15 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink & eat @ the same time. Our last experience our waitress was really nice but a little slow on refills & getting to us but this time was WAY worse.
Called in an order of 2 sushi rolls. 15 minutes after calling, arrive at the restaurant only to wait an additional 55 minutes. Looked like a 5 year old made the rolls. Going to be hard to go back
Very very rude service. I never got a refill and took very long to even get my check. One lady threw another tables balled up receipt on my plate. Sushi is terrible and not properly made. Today the sushi wasn’t available? Not sure why. Probably because so many people complain about it. There are items on the menu that they no longer serve. Need to update the menu. Will not be back.

I loved it here! My family and I always come here for family celebrations or for an occasional dinner. The chefs are so friendly and always cook your food just right. The live cooking is always the best entertainment.
Hands down the best hibachi I’ve ever had. The sushi is good too, but the hibachi is superb. And the staff is always friendly. They can get busy, but that has never negatively affected my experience.
Food was good. Service was good. Just didnt appreciate them cleaning up right at the tables beside us. Made us feel rushed to leave. One long haired lady with glasses needed to dress more appropriately. She was rude with an attitude.
Can split a plate in half, great cooked to perfection. Served with soup, salad, fried soft noodles and rice, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, lots of meat...scallops, steak, shrimp, chicken, or veggies...any combination as well. Great service!

I called in good and I couldn’t 100% understand the lady, so I had said rice no noodles and she said “oh my god” so I said I’d like rice and no noodles and she was like “aghhh ugh” ok.She was just being rude.
Went in to place a to go, staff was friendly, but we could not understand what the person taking the order was saying. Once we did get everything understood, we were told 15 min. 25 min later, we get asked by another staff member what our order number was, other people after us gave come and gone. We then were told, our order evidently didn't make it to the cooking staff. SO, 15 minutes later, after making the food we received our meal. Also, the cooks were not keeping their face mask on their face while handling the food. But, the staff was very friendly, so that was a plus.
Food is great. salads suck. Everything is the bare minimum .sometimes portions are different. Almost every time portions are different man at cash register needs a better attitude hard to get drinks most of the time seem to always be out or not made

This place is so good! I highly recommend the hibachi shrimp because it always comes out so good! :)
Always good, but if going for Sushi check that the Sushi chef works that night.

This place was good before but now the food tastes old. Got a to go order yesterday. Chicken was dry. Rice was stale. I got 2 pieces of zucchini and a bunch of onions. The staff are rude when you call and give your order. Like they are being bothered by you calling them then they rush you of the phone. Last 3 times I've been for pick up they completely messed up my order. Im done giving this place my money. I will go elsewhere.
Really like this place. The food is always good.
Took my entire family of 7 there..Had a blast and food was awesome.Our cook was Sata,,we call him Bruce and always ask for him..He puts on a great show while preparing our meal..the sad note to this is we've heard they are closing that side of the restaurant and Sata will be leaving. So sorry to hear this....7 members will be eating and spending our money elsewhere.. I guess a sushi bar will take its place. I truly don't know..it was great while it lasted. Thanks "Bruce "!
This place is excellent! Food is delicious! We love it when Ray cooks for us. The entire staff is so nice.
I really did love this place… I said did, the place has some really nice food and has really great sweet tea but the only thing I miss is that the used to have the show. It's where they cook the food right in front of you and now it's gone I am very sad :(

The gentleman taking orders is very rude. He got upset when I asked for my food to be well done with no onions. He assumed I wanted my steak medium. Shouldn’t assume because I would have went home, not ate my food.
Surprised to find this place on my way back from a trip.
Waitress was the most positive experience. She was really nice. The sushi was extremely sticky and inedible. Then when our meals arrived our steak was overcooked and I had a plate of onions, no mushrooms and very little zucchini. This was our date night and I remembered this place being much better a few years ago when we visited. Not sure what has happened to this place but we will not be back.
Food was excellent, large portion too. No wait on New Years Eve. Definitely will visit again.
My wife and I have been here 3 times and the third time was the charm regarding coming back again... because we're not. Though they do NOT give you enough food for the price they charge, it was good and the waitresses we've had were great. The cashier, on the other hand, not so much because we, as well as other patrons, overheard him tell a disappointed customer to "take your money and go to McDonald's" all the while being on Facetime. This is NOT how you run a business, ladies and gentlemen, but this IS how you run OUT OF BUSINESS.. So with that said, we will NOT be coming back if this establishment allows their employees to act UNPROFESSIONAL to whoever, whenever they choose!! Take your money elsewhere... You have been warned!! 👎
I got the shrimp tempura roll and the spicy tuna roll. First, tempura should be battered and fried and it was just cooked shrimp and cucumber (no batter). It also tasted very old along with the spicy tuna roll. It was 12 pieces of sushi total and I ate 3 pieces before I realized that it just was not good. When brought to the attention of my server, she got management who then hovered at the table and refused to accept my reasoning of the sushi tasting old. He then offered to take ONE of my rolls (when i had hardly eaten either) and when I pointed to the least expensive roll that I had ate more of (2 pieces out of 6), he then went and charged me for the more expensive one and left. First experience and not a very good one at that..
I've been twice recently. The first weekend was great because it was less busy. Food was great, reasonably priced and came out quickly. The second weekend was busier because it was Valentine's day weekend. Did take more time to come out. Food was still good. I will be back.
Food is always fresh and delixious
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always cooked to perfection and the service is prompt and friendly. I don’t get the negative reviews I see here. I’ve never had a bad experience at Niobe and I go often. Keep being great, Niobe! Some people aren’t happy wherever they go.

My sashimi was more of a fish popsicle. It was a joke. Fresh from the freezer. The server made it out to be no big deal. The hibachi was "ok" at best. I would have to be pretty desperate to eat here again
Good food, nice place. Humble wait staff. Inexpensive unlike the big Japanese food chain restaurants. I will be going back very soon

For the town of Graham, this place is probably considered good. But it's really worth it to drive a couple miles east or west and get a real hibachi experience! Sushi was ok, not great. The dining room was pretty cramped.
I understand how difficult the times are right now.However, you call in a order, they told me pick up in 35 minutes. Wait in parking lot another 30 minutes with 20+ people. Yes everyone keep distance.No one in the restaurant even step up to door and call outnumbers so you would not know order was ready.People was going in one at a time, jump in front of others that was there when they arrived.. Some came out with food and some didn't.We left and called and cancel, only to be told food ready. Sorry not driving back.She said alot of orders are ready. I told her all people in parking lot not knowing if order is ready.Simple fix , they got your cell, tell you sit in vehicle text when order is ready and amountPick up and pay.Maybe they will figure that out.Hate didn't get food, always been good.
They say they're teppanyaki. They are not. Their ginger sauce is nasty. A salad is literally just small handful of iceberg lettuce with a single slice of carrot on top. I couldn't figure out which cup of sauce was salad dressing or ginger hibachi sauce. And lastly, a Japanese steakhouse should not operate like a fast food joint. I won't be returning.
Ordered the family size, this was a joke, only enough noodles for 1, not 4, lots if rice, chicken and shrimp portions were fine, but they had no beef. Lots and lots of onions, a few broccoli and zucchini. No dressing, we ask for ranch. Wont be doing this again.
Great food, you have to be early if you want snapper though, great service!
Pretty good place for the family. The prices make it even better and they have family combo meals that can't be beat for Japanese food. We really like it!!
Wouldn't recommend for the price point. Salad is just a handful of lettuce with a thin slice of carrot on top. Ordered a Volcano Roll which usually comes fried HORRIBLE taste...I was told its baked then was served with a bunch of spicy shredded crab on top 👎🏽👎🏽. Can't say much about staff because NO ONE came to check on our table after we sat down up until we left 🤷🏽♀️. Needless to say I will not be going back.
This place gives very bad service, the food is not equal to what you pay for and they feel like they can talk to you in anyway. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN‼️‼️‼️‼️
